This lesson plan and presentation provides students an opportunity to explore Facebook Marketplace (FBM) as an organizing system. Where FBM differs from other selling platforms like eBay where users are largely anonymous, Marketplace lets you see users you're interacting with using the built-in social connectivity of Facebook. By the end of the lesson, users will have successfully navigated FBM, learning how the platform is structured and organized for selling and buying goods between Facebook users. The lesson will ask students to consider how FBM is organized and what interactions are encouraged and discouraged.
