This is an assignment used in an introductory computer science course that demonstrates how retrieval augmented generation can be used to provide relevant facts to help ground responses from large language models. This assignment serves the dual purpose of providing students with a very basic introduction to the applications of LLMs while also allowing them to explore string operations and methods.
