UBC Okanagan recently launched a website to support curriculum mapping, analysis, and planning at the course and program levels, UBC Curriculum MAP. This website was closely inspired and informed by Curriculum Links (University of Calgary) and customized to meet UBC’s needs and priorities. However, anybody with an email address can use the site and/or its open source software for their own institution.

During this demo, you will hear from two Curriculum MAP team members: a faculty member who uses this tool for course and program planning, and a quality-assurance practitioner who uses it to support program reviews and program proposals.

Who is this workshop for?

• Instructors looking to ideate or evaluate a course from a backward design and constructive alignment perspective
• Program coordinators/leads looking to ideate/evaluate a program based on curriculum mapping
• Quality-assurance practitioners looking to support instructors/faculty members with curriculum mapping for evaluation or analysis
• Teaching and learning professionals looking to support their teams through the use of technology

By the end of this session, attendees will have a good understanding of this tool and its applications in their own context.
