The walk from "no" to "yes"

William Ury, author of "Getting to Yes," offers an elegant, simple (but not easy) way to create agreement in even the most difficult situations -- from family conflict to, perhaps, the Middle East. (Filmed at TEDxMidWest.)

This is a TED-Ed presentation that includes a video, a quiz, and links to other resources such as guided discussions....

I was interested in viewing the TedED talk by William Ury as way of introducing myself to his work. I bought his book, Getting to Yes, but I had not started reading it yet. I liked Ury's communication style in video and I like the conflict resolution concepts that he presented in the video such as Go to the Balcony, Commit to Communication, Novel Solutions, Perspective, Walk to Resolve Conflict and the Abraham Path. The video also had the following sections: Watch (the video itself), Think (a quiz but free registration was required to access it), Dig Deeper (more information about the author, the Abraham Path and how to create peace). I am looking forward to starting the book soon.
