Here we discuss Instagram as an Organizing System and the use and importance of hashtagging for personal and professional purposes. Within the Slideshow presentation, the speaking notes are embedded. This lesson should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Learning Objectives
Students should be able to:
- Describe possible uses and applications of hashtagging and tagging features on the Instagram platform and compare the potential impacts of effective and ineffective tagging
- Produce hashtags to accomplish a specific goal (e.g. personal, marketing, news dissemination, networking, etc.)
Students will be asked to participate and provide feedback through the chat feature in Zoom.
