Under Aims and Scope the editors write ?Consumption, Markets and Culture focuses on consumerism and the markets as the site of social behaviour and discourse..... The editors consider marketing to be the ultimate social practice of postmodernity, blending art and commerce and requiring the constant renewal of styles, forms and images.? Among the articles are ones on the marketing of Hawaii as a paradise, personal appearance and consumption, and the structure of Islamic economics. The latest issue is 2002, so some of the information is dated.
