This study uses social scientific methodology to deeply explore and seek understanding about the experiences and perspectives of Clarkson women STEM faculty.

The purpose of this study was to:

1. Deepen understanding of the challenges faced by women STEM faculty.
2. Inform attempts to change campus cultures.
3. Increase recruitment, retention, and advancement of women STEM faculty.

The authors encourage additional research and thoughtful consideration of whether other groups such as staff, students, STEM faculty at other universities, or other groups of faculty at Clarkson may share some of these experiences.
