This video examines women's human rights from the CEDAW treaty. It defines discrimination and investigates how this occurs in the workplace and in politics, and looks at the problem of gender based violence.

The session on Women’s Rights as Human Rights is one of the 13 sessions of an e-learning course on Human Rights in Southeast Asia produced by ASEAN University Network - Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE) and sponsored by the ASEAN Cyber University (ACU) and the Republic of Korea.   

The e-learning course is based on the textbooks developed and produced by the ASEAN University Network - Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE) as part of the Strengthening Human Rights and Peace Research and Education in ASEAN / Southeast Asia (SHAPE-SEA).
