This lesson plan articulates the learning objectives and respective roles associated with a 10 minute presentation of "Goodreads as an Organizing System". Learning objectives include 1. Develop a custom list in the "Bookshelf" section of Goodreads, and 2. Identify how the Bookshelf functions. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding of these objectives by the end of the session.The lesson gives basic information on how Goodreads functions, how a user can facilitate interactions with friends through the social media aspects of Goodreads, and how to search, review, and share different books on the platform.This lesson plan is grouped with its associated powerpoint presentation, which has recommended speaker notes imbedded for ease of use.
