This lesson plan accompanies the Goodreads PowerPoint.

For this lesson, students will learn why, how, and for whom Goodreads functions. The first portion of the lesson concentrates on briefly describing components of Goodreads and discusses how information is represented, organized, and used. The second portion of the lesson directs students how to utilize the standard "Bookshelf" features and how to create a customized bookshelf. 

By the end of this ten minute course, students will be able to:

• Develop a custom list in the "Bookshelf" section of Goodreads.
• Identify how the Bookshelf functions.

This presentation was shared via Zoom and utilized a Zoom Poll at the beginning of the lesson. The poll has been integrated into the PowerPoint slides for future ease of use. The lesson concludes with the presenter sharing the link for a "Funwork" wordsearch activity. The link is located on the final slide.
