Since 2015 to present, Mahidol University is having the policy to support every faculty to involve educational technology in providing a learning system, and to developing the subject material into online courses, included MOOC. With an objective to be the center of online learning in Thailand, and to serve educational knowledge regarding no limitation for everyone, therefore MUx (Mahidol MOOC) was established to serve on this purpose. Mahidol MOOC or Mahidol University Extension (MUx) is providing a learning course for anybody with no boundary, with over 30 courses provided by Mahidol University’s academic staff.
The site is developing from an open-source software platform named OpenEdX along with MUx’s staff supervised in IT system, instructional design, and multimedia production.
How to Use MUx.mahidol.ac.th
1. Scroll down to change the language to English, the button will appear at the right end corner.
2. Click the register button, the site will bring you to our registration page.
3. The registration page will automatically show the left tap, which is for Mahidol University's students and staff. Click on the right tap to register as a guest.
4. Make sure you click the activation link in your registered email for the next sign-in.
5. If you already have MUx account, click on the log-in button and select the right tab to log in as a guest. The left tab is for Mahidol University's students and staff.
Strategy of use
Mahidol MOOC Providing online course from Mahidol University’s instructor with printable certification when students are passes the score criteria in the course. Each course contains videos, voice clips, exercises, discussion boards and many more tools to provide the best solution for all of the students.
Almost all of the course is teaching in Thai language with subtitles provided, English-based course is in lesser part but will be provided more in any time soon.
Now, all course is available for free of charge and registration is required.
