Italy's International Telematic University Uninettuno is one of the major MOOC Platform providers in Europe and the Mediterranean (comparable to edX/Coursera) by creating and providing numerous MOOCs in Italian, Arabic, English, French, and Greek. Uninettuno has joined the European Union MOOC platform provider Opening Up Education at (OpenupEd  www.OpenupEd.eu  ) to list their MOOCs. Uninettuno's Internet based Learning Environment "Didactic Cyberspace" transfers "directly to the student's desk: lessons, multimedia products, databases, exercises, evaluation and self-evaluation systems, online tutoring, forums, chats, and thematic wikis."
