Visual Schrödinger: A Visualizer-Solver Applet for the One-Dimensional Schrödinger Equation

Visual Schrödinger: A Visualizer-Solver Applet for the One-Dimensional Schrödinger Equation

This web site, created by Kevin Schmidt of Arizona State University's Department of Physics, provides a Java applet for the numerical solution of one dimensional time-independent Schrodinger equations. Example problems, including 1D problems and the radial equation of 3D problems, are provided. The user can change the parameters in the problem, including the potential, the number of nodes, and the computational parameters. Information about the algorithm used and the physics of the sample problems is included.
