Think of this Studio 121 as a support lab for ENG121. Everything we do in this section is intended to help you succeed in ENG121 with the larger goal of preparing you to write for all of your college courses. This new model stems from the belief that developmental writers can be successful in college level writing classes. You just need the right kind of support to do so!   While Studio is not entirely a separate class from ENG121, it is worth 3 whole credits on its own, so the work we do here will be as significant as the work you would do in any three credit course. All of the work for this CCR section will directly support the work that you are assigned to complete in ENG121. Your participation in this studio component is important to your success in ENG121 and other college courses!

Course Description CCR 094 integrates and contextualizes reading and writing strategies tailored to co-requisite ENG 121 coursework. Students will read and understand complex materials, and respond to ideas and information through writing informative and/or persuasive texts.
