TecnoVision-ROBIN: benchmarking object retrieval algorithms

This video was recorded at Workshop on Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning in Computer Vision, Grenoble 2004. Technovision is a recent program of the French Ministry of Research and Technology that will fund evaluation projects in the area of computer vision. Many vision algorithms have been proposed in the past, but comparing their performance has been difficult owing to the lack of common datasets. Technovision aims to correct this by funding the creation of large, representative image datasets. ROBIN is a Technovision proposal covering the evaluation of object retrieval algorithms
