Neutrinos: Discovering a New Physics World
This video was recorded at Kolokviji na Institutu "Jožef Stefan". The discovery of neutrino mass and mixing is one of the major discoveries in particle physics in the recent years. Non-zero neutrino masses and mixing are considered as the first direct evidence of new physics beyond the Standard model. Phenomenological consequences of this discovery as well as possible implications for fundamental theory will be discussed. Future programs of research and possible developments of the neutrino technologies will be outlined.
