Hyperpolitics: An Experiment in Cooperative Concept Formation

This video was recorded at 21st IPSA World Congress of Political Science "Global discontent? Dillemas of change", Santiago 2009. This paper presents the basic features of Hyperpolitics, a methodology aimed at defining political concepts in a modular and interactive manner. Hyperpolitics has been developed as a book (Hyperpolitics. An Interactive Dictionary of Political Science, University of Chicago Press, 2009) and as a Web site (www.hyperpolitics.net) with the aim of addressing the growing complexity of disciplinary areas in political science while fostering analytical skills and cooperation among scholars with different backgrounds and approaches.
