Uporaba transgenih organizmov je predstavljena z vidika sprejemljivosti tehnologij. Sodobna biotehnologija je marsikdaj potrebna predvsem zato, da omili učinke neustrezne in neodgovorne uporabe tehnologij. Possible impacts of transgenic organisms on ecosystems are discussed from the point of view of acceptability of technologies. Application of contemporary biotechnology is often needed just to mitigate the effects of irresponsible use of recent technologies.
