National Paideia Center

The National Paideia Center works to inspire and support the systemic reformation of American public schools based on the Paideia program, first articulated by philosopher Mortimer Adler during the early 1980s. We focus on whole-school improvement of teaching and learning, leading to academic rigor for all students.

This website gives a good introduction to the work of the National Paideia Center and has links to other resources on the WWW related to Paideia. You can also find out about Paidiea training opportunities and the annual conference here. Research and evaluation reports about the success of Paideia are also available.
