Clio is like Yelp! for historical and cultural sites, galleries, museums, etc. with 3300 entries and a few more added each day. Clio will always be free, does not accept ads, vets entries, and is gets a little better each month as scholars and their students contribute and improve articles. In short, it seems like something you and other advocates of OER would love. And it will really be fun to use when you travel.  

Some of the “time capsule” entries are incredibly powerful. For example, you can stand at the exact spot where Solomon Northup (12 Years a Slave) was sold and see an image of the slave pen exactly where it once stood. Or you can simply get real-time directions and a phone number for the Air and Space Museum. Something for everyone.
