A Guided Tour of the Visible Human

The Visible Human Project sometimes overwhelms new students with the amount of marterial available and how it is displayed. This site is an excellent introduction to what is available in the project with a large number of images. The explanation of planes of sectioning is excellent as are the wonderful animations that accompany each. The Interactive Annotations section has several sections that have annotations that are selected by clicking on the actual Visible Human images. It is an excellent example of how these images can be used educationally.
