WorldNetDaily (WND) is an independent news site focusing on political and social issues most of which you wont find reported in the so-called mainstream media like ABC, CBS, or NBC. WND provides an independent stance on issues along with commentary from todays top political writers. WND also features in-house commentary from some of their staff. I feel that Merlot can benefit from this addition because it is not the same-old reporting you get from most news outlets. The commentary is tough and to the point and the reporting is not skewed by an agenda either way. It is not beholden to either political party it can simple report the news without influence.

Did MERLOT review this site? Today, March 8, 2006, the content has a strong
Islamaphobic taint. Let's see if tomorrow's content is even remotely
educational.

The use of "Unknown" submissions requires some vigilance on MERKOT's part.
