Requires and iBook for use. There are seven modules covering the basics of developing your online course syllabus: Influences on Teaching, Teaching in a Changing Society, Nature of Assessment, Foundations of Assessment I & II, Rubrics, and Reflection. Good starting point for those new to the online classroom. The emphasis is on developing course goals and objectives. I don't use apple products so I could not download the free iBook.

The companion iBook is available for free from the iTunes Bookstore: Building Blocks of Effective Online Courses. However, it is not required. The iBook contains the exact same material and was created for those who would like to view the content of this course offline.
