The background for this movie is very simple, we found that in the fast transition from the Telcom world to the Internet world that the Telco industry is now experiencing, many people who had been working with traditional Telco systems, had difficulty grasping how the Internet worked. They tried to map their old knowldege into a new world without much success. An example of this is the issue of multiplexing, a cornerstone of the traditional circuit switched network. To give these people a picture of the net we created this movie, to show how the Internet works.
