The courseware includes twenty-four interactive learning modules that are available via: http://www.academy.rpi.edu/projects/ccli and two educational technologies described and demonstrated at http://www.academy.rpi.edu/projects/ccli/technologies. All of the modules and technologies operate within a browser environment and can be used in the following ways: 1) to illustrate basic concepts in the context of traditional lectures; 2) as supporting exercises/explorations in a studio classroom environment; 3) as virtual experiments in a laboratory situation; 4) as a tool for structuring homework problems; 5) as out-of-class study supplements for independent learners; and 6) in various combinations of individual and collaborative learning modes. The learning technologies used in conjunction with the modules are: Scribe: a means to capture, review and modify the result of a student using an interactive learning module; and WebTeam: a tool that allows interactive, collaborative exploration, design and testing via the Internet.
