This site includes two actitivities pertaining to evolution. The first animation, The Big Picture, provides information about the evidence for evolution including natural selection, fossils and species distributions across the world. During this animation, Check your Understanding questions are asked at various points in the animation. The second activity, called Evolution in Action, allows one to conduct an experiment to test whether evolution will occur in a population of fruit flies. Check your Understanding questions are also asked throughout this animation. This site also allows one to select subtitles in English or Spanish.
