This site provides a history of prions timeline. The timeline includes photos and information pertaining to each time period. There is also a section on explaining the mystery of Kuru and the controversy behind prions. Students can click a link to read more about Kuru and the prion controversy. In addition, there is a slideshow describing what a prion is, how prions replicate and how prions kill. Finally, there is a survey of spongiform diseases in humans, goats, sheep, cattle, deer and elk.
