Both librarians and journalists are dedicated to strengthening and improving access to local news in the digital age. The report identifies opportunities for collaboration, existing projects that could serve as the basis for further library/newsroom/community collaborations, and suggests next steps professionals in both fields can take to make sustainable and accessible digital local news a reality.
