Resources for interfaith and intercultural education, provided by the UK charity The Khalili Foundation. These are created with the support of UNESCO and endorsed by the UK Government's "Educate Against Hate" portal.
The "For Teachers" section (free registration required) has advice and printable resources for activities that foster respectful discussion of faith and culture, including addressing stereotypes. It also has advice on exercises on religion that can be used within other subjects.
The "For Students" section is a resource bank with hundreds of images, video clips, and short text summaries to support independent learning. These curated materials are classroom-safe, avoiding the hate or the evangelism that would be found on the open web or in mainstream image databases.
Used throughout the site are cartoon characters that represent the goals of the programme: Ci (Confident Individual), Sul (Successful Learner), Rul (Responsible Citizen). Teachers can take individual resources and activities to use in lessons. Alternatively, they can run the whole set of materials as a unit spanning a term, building towards the students giving a presentation about what they've learned.
