Short-term effect of kinesiology taping on pain, functional disability and lumbar proprioception in individuals with nonspecific chronic low back pain: a double-blinded, randomized trial - Chiropractic & Manual Therapies

This report details a short study done to prove the effectiveness of kinesiology tape. This study tested the effects of kinesiology taping against placebo taping (where no tension is applied). In the end, kinesiology tape was found to be more effective than the placebo, when it comes to relieving pain.
