I found the page on deep brain stimulation to be very informative. The simple yet detailed explanation provided helped me grasp the concept well. This has given me a much better understanding of how electric current pulses can be used to address neurological disorders like Parkinson's disease. Overall, the page nicely covered the treatment's suitability, procedural details, post-surgery considerations, and potential short—and long-term side effects.

This article provided me with a nice introduction into deep brain stimulation. The information was well broken down, and even though I had never heard of such a treatment method before, I got to understand the use of electric current pulses to treat Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions. I really liked how they broke down essentially the entire process, including the considerations of who is right for this treatment, how the treatment is performed, procedures for after the stimulation surgery, and even side effects (both short and long term). I found it especially interesting that patients had to come in after their surgery to get their neurostimulator programmed. Overall, this was an extremely informative introduction and information source.
