Help build NYC's permanent catalog listing women activists from across the globe. Share a story that inspires you.

Collecting 20000 stories of inspiring women.

WomensActivism.NYC is a project spearheaded by the NYC Department of Records and Information Services (DORIS) in celebration of the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in the United States. The stories collected for the contest will be preserved by the Municipal Archives to inspire future generations.

Use the Google translator in the upper website corner to  view the information in your preferred language.  There is no direct email link.
