The objectives for this module are to explore the concepts of spirituality and spiritual nursing care.  There is a powerful link between spirituality and wellness.  Nurses therefore need to be sensitive to spiritual beliefs and needs of those they care for.  You will explore spirituality and reflect upon about how you will provide spiritually sensitive care in a spiritually diverse world. 

After active participation in this module, the learner will

1. Reflect on and discuss own spiritual beliefs including how these affect care provided by self
2. Reflect on and discuss concepts related to spirituality and spiritual beliefs including the relationship they have with health beliefs and healthcare 
3. Discuss spiritual nursing care
