The rufous sell cuckoo or northern falcon cuckoo (Hierococcyx hyperythrus) is a bird in the family Cuculidae previously remembered to be conspecific with Hodgson's bird of prey cuckoo (Hierococcyx fugax) and set in the class Cuculus.Hierococcyx hyperythrus is tracked down in eastern China, North and South Korea, far eastern Russiaand Japan. Northern populaces winter in Borneo.
