This online music encyclopedia lets you search through approximately 30,000 melodies and tunes to help you determine the name of the song that's stuck in your head. You can whistle or sing into your computer's microphone, search by keyword, or enter the Parsons Code, a rough description of the melodic contour, to "name that tune." The collection of melodies can be extended or altered by anybody. Melodies can be stored with sheet music samples and MIDI files in addition to the melodic contour and textual information such as title, composer, and lyrics.
