The webpage is a daily newspaper site featuring current events. it provides high-interest reading for intermediate level reading proficiencies. The Spanish instructor will find that each article has links to related themes to provide for in-depth reading of one same theme, e.g., the Winter Olympics, the Oscar nominations, travel. Terra also provides a similar front-page for sixteen countries in the Spanish speaking world. There is also a webpage for Brasil in Portuguese.
