Esperanto: The Inter-National Language

Esperanto: The Inter-National Language

This site, created by Esperantists Christopher Zervic and R. Kent Jones of the Esperanto Society of Chicago, provides a concise description of the grammar of Esperanto, a language created in 1887. An English/ Esperanto glossary is included, as well as links to other Esperanto resources, including ELNA, the Esperanto League of North America. As someone studying Esperanto, I know Esperanto has been taught successfully even at the fourth-grade level. Esperantists claim it is at least four times easier to learn than other languages. My own experience -- I've studied Spanish, German, French, Russian, and I have had a smattering of Greek -- bears this out. Research and anecdotal evidence also suggests that children exposed to Esperanto often learn other languages more successfully later on. Smiliar sites exist, but this one is very easy to use. Four stars.

Took a quick look to see the site. It is well designed and loads very quickly.
Interesting topic. Will take a longer look later.
