Love this App because it allows students to be their own authors and tap into their creative minds. I would use this during a center during guided reading or for their quarterly writing requirement as it can be printed.

This App is worth the money!  It is SO easy to use and users can import pictures and create books of all kinds.  It would be terrific to use with emerging readers, creating books that are of special interest to them, using their own pictures.

I have used this app with students, student teachers, and K-university teachers. This app has a clean intuitive design and clear, interactive tutorial for using it built right in. Young elementary students through adults will find the app both fun and functional for creating and sharing books on the iPad's iBooks app or as an epub file. Possible uses for your books might include children's picture books, photo books, art books, cookbooks, nauals, textbooks, pamphlets, journals, etc. If you are involved in digital storytelling and have an iPad, this will be a delight to use. Information about the steps needed to publish your created book to Apple's iBookstore are available at http://www.apple.com/itunes/content-providers/book-faq.html

The cost of $4.99 for the app has been well worth it for me.
