The collection of online simulations about light and radiation are incredibly useful in class. The topics range in level from ray tracing in simple geometric optics to tuning energy levels to generate lasing. The collection of simulations is incredibly modular and can be dropped into discussions of optics from introductory courses through to modern physics. Each simulation is carefully designed for clarity and comprehensibility by students.
