This is an excellent site providing a online lab tutorials in plant genetics and bioinformatics. Labs included on this site include detecting a transposon in Arabidopsis, detecting a transposon in corn, detecting genetically modified foods and linkage mapping a mutation in Arabidopsis.  The labs include an introduction to the concepts explored as well as historical information relating to the concepts, materials and methods including laboratory equipment checklists and laboratory technique instruction, examples of typical results and discussion, as well as example questions for interpretation of data.  In addition, each lab provides a bioinformatics tuturiol illuminating the use of "blast search" to identify and illuminate relevant features of the plant genome.  In addition to the primary labs, the site also provides animations and videos on a range of topics including the growth and maintanance of Arabidopsis, an overview of the plant cell, gel electrophoresis and polymerase chain reactions.  This is an excellent tutorial site that provides indepth instruction for basic and advanced plant genomic labs.
