This book "reports on the risk of new malignancies in a large population of more than 2 million cancer survivors, utilizing data from the National Cancer Institute’s Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Program from 1973 to 2000. Systematically examines the risks of subsequent cancers for more than 50 adult and 18 childhood tumors, with data presented by gender, age at diagnosis of the initial cancer, and time since diagnosis, as well as the initial treatment and histologic type of certain cancers."
