This resource includes excellent detailed information for beginner dental students on dental terminology related to dental arches, quadrants, tooth types, dentitions, universal tooth numbering system, and tooth surfaces. The multiple choice formative assessment questions are extremely useful as a check point to student understanding at the end of each page. The helpful hint area, and definitions of challenging dental concepts are useful as students move through the lesson. The visual tools used include decent quality images and colours to assist learners with mapping of the oral cavity. The additional student activities of crosswords and drag and drop increase student engagement, understanding, and retention of content material. Content I would include is the FDI numbering system used in countries other than the USA, and sextants in addition to the quadrant mapping of the oral cavity. Overall, this is an excellent resource for beginner students to learn basic dental terminology.
