The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center offers an extensive variety of materials associated with the 19th President of the United States and the era known as the Gilded Age.  The site is divided into the following major categories: The President, Research Collections, Library, Museum, Hayes Home, Speigel Grove, and the Dillion House.  The President category is further divided a series of articles on the disputed Election of 1876, the Hayes Genealogy, Scholarly works about Hayes, the Hayes Family, and the ability to search 3000 pages of President Hayes Diaries and Letters.  The Research and Collections catory provides access to: research files, manuscript collections, Civil War research, Prints and Photographic collections, Online texts, the Hayes Historical Journal, and Learning Resources.  President Hayes was the cousin, once removed of Gilded Age author William Dean Howells.  An extension collection of the Howells papers is at the Hayes Presidential Center.
