This Flash presentation, guided by the learner with left- and right-pointing arrows, provides an overview of common types of information sources (books, journals, newspapers, etc.). The larger part of the presentation describes characteristics of each information type, with matching images as examples. The remainder covers instances in which the use of a particular source is recommended. The concluding page lists links to three tutorials on other university Web sites.
