"This episode gives an overview of the purposes of functional assessment of the elderly as well as tools for easy assessment in the office setting. 

Learning Objectives: the physician audience should be able to:  Define the purpose of functional assessment of the elderly; List three questions that help assess healthy aging; Identify screening factors for vision, hearing, leg mobility, urinary incontinence, nutrition, memory, depression & physician disability; Use the Get-Up-And-Go test for mobility; and Conduct a simple functional assessment in an office setting.
