Theological Perspectives of the Reformation

Theological Perspectives of the Reformation is a multi-media website written by Mark Gstohl and Bart Everson of Xavier University of Louisiana. It is a component of a rich media project sponsored by Xavier's Center for the Advancement of Teaching. * Mark Gstohl is Assistant Professor of Theology at Xavier University of Louisiana. * Bart Everson is the multimedia artist for Xavier's Center for the Advancement of Teaching. The purpose of this site is to provide information about the various movements of the Reformation to undergraduate students at Xavier and to those interested in the study of the Reformation. As one who identifies with the Anabaptist tradition and teaches at a Catholic institution, I am particularly interested in providing as much information about these movements as I can. I want to ensure that my audience will understand that while Martin Luther is an important Reformation figure, he and the other Magisterial Reformers are not the only persons engaged in Reforming the Church in the sixteenth century.
