The USGS website is great for information and research on geologic hazards, resources and geologic processes. The scientists who run this website monitor,assess and research the causes of earthquakes,landslides, and volcanoes from around the world. They also conduct geological mapping of land and the sea floor. There are many links for different sectors of science. The different links are associated with energy, minerals, volcanoes, landslides, earthquakes,geomagnetism, global seismic networks, astrogeology,geologic mapping,earth surface dynamics and coastal & marine geology. This site is well organized, loads quickly,all links are accessible and this site is maintained regularly.
