Data Mining for Preterm Birth Prediction

This lecture provides both introductory information about data mining and specific application to a problem domain of preterm (premature) birth.    It was developed as a narrated PowerPoint file and converted to an e-learning Flash format using Articulate software (articulate.com).   The original intent of the lecture was to provide a guest lecture for students in Utah (the author of the lecture lives and works in North Carolina).   There are a couple of embedded interactive quiz items.
