NEWTON BBS has supported over 20 000+ questions since its inception in 1991. The archives of the Ask A Scientist question and answer postings between 1991 and 2005 can be found within this web site. Users do not have to be a member of NEWTON to utilize this service, however, this service is intended for K-12 teachers and students!

The question you submit is emailed directly to our volunteer scientists [located throughout the world] and answers will be emailed to the return email address you have provided.  Questions and answers are posted within NEWTON BBS and become web pages for others to access in the future.
