elcome to this OER course redesign project for ESOL 162, Level 6 Academic Writing at Portland Community College. This Google Site, the syllabus, the schedule, homework page, creative writing journal and any links herein were organized as part of a grant from Open Oregon, a resource for OER established by Oregon's Higher Education Coordination Commission: Office of Community Colleges and Workforce Development. The units of the book and the slideshow were not included in the grant.

The materials here were selected for ESOL learners who have intermediate-high intermediate writing skills and are starting more academic levels of coursework in order to transition into college-level composition courses.
